I had a phenomenal time as a judge for the annual Moped 2 Memphis Fundraiser Pageant held in Clover benefitting St. Jude Hospital’s. Frank Falls, Founder of Moped 2 Memphis and Clover High School Teacher, has been working since 2008 to help raise funds and awareness for St. Jude Hospitals. The Nonprofit Organization was created when Frank’s class had to pick a nonprofit to help raise funds for as a school-wide initiative. Frank jokingly said that if his class raised a certain amount of money, he would ride a moped all the way to Memphis Tennessee where St. Jude Hospital’s headquarters was located. Little did he know, he wouldn’t just be making the trip once, but rather endure the trip every year since as a form of fundraising for the cause. Since its start, Moped 2 Memphis has raised almost 1 million dollars for St. Jude. This amazing organization has quickly become a favorite of mine!
