What a thrill this interview was! One of the most exciting parts of covering NASCAR for Nexstar was the opportunity to interview the race winner one on one after they took the official winning photos. These interviews were made to appear live and were also used for the recap packages created for stations. These interviews were both fun and a challenge, as the leaderboard would change often during the race, and I had to be prepared to interview multiple drivers that could have won. This by far was my favorite part of this assignment.
