The last assignment for covering NASCAR for Nexstar was to create a recap look like PKG that could air that night or the next morning for Nexstar stations. This story was a true test of working under a deadline, as our team rushed to create this package for many 10pm newscasts. I was very proud of our hard work and ability to make deadline and overall successfully cover Iowa’s first ever NASCAR Cup Series Race.
